MembraSAL — Reverse osmosis (RO), with mineralisation

Do you have brackish or salt water, or do you want virtually all dissolved substances out of your water?

Using reverse osmosis, MembraSAL removes virtually all dissolved salts and minerals from your water, including brackish or saline source water. Part of the water is discharged as rinse water in the process; how much depends on the model and on your source water. That is simply how desalination works.

PFAS is also significantly reduced: in an independent lab test on a comparable system from the same manufacturer, all 20 tested types of PFAS fell below the detection limit, a reduction of more than 99.8%.

Water fresh from the membrane contains almost no minerals. For drinking water, we therefore add them back with a mineralisation cartridge. You set how many minerals go in yourself. The right setting depends on your source water; we look at that for each situation.

Your equipment benefits too: with water free of limescale and dissolved salts, less scale builds up in machines, pipes and boilers.

Without mineralisation, MembraSAL is also suitable for uses where you don't drink the water, such as rinse water or glass washing. Healthcare and laboratories have separate standards; we agree on these with you for each situation. From a compact unit to large capacity for hospitality and businesses.
