Works like the pre-filter cartridge 20 inch — holds back sand, rust and other particles and largely removes chlorine and any off-taste or smell — plus an antiscalant that prevents scaling on the membranes of an RO installation. Intended as a pre-filter ahead of an RO installation (MembraSAL), not as a stand-alone drinking water filter. For the pre-filter housing 20 inch; capacity up to 150,000 litres.
