Ultrafiltration and activated carbon in one cartridge, for exactly that one tap or appliance. Less PFAS, microplastics and chlorine, and on top of that fewer bacteria and viruses.
This is the compact cartridge version of the ViruLEX and SorCA combination: a small, quick-to-replace element for under the tap, behind a coffee maker, or for other small consumers such as a steam iron, a steam appliance you fill, or an ice machine.
You get activated carbon filtration — chlorine largely removed, PFAS and microplastics significantly reduced, and any off-taste or smell neutralised, with a bacteriostatic effect thanks to the silver molecules in the filter — plus an ultrafiltration membrane (down to 0.1 micron) that also removes bacteria up to 99.99–100% and viruses up to 99–99.9%.
Which size should you choose?
Choose the right size based on the flow rate your tap or appliance needs, in litres per minute — the more water that has to pass through per minute, the bigger the cartridge you need. The smallest size is intended for a single appliance, such as a coffee machine or ice machine. Replace the cartridge when its capacity is reached, and after 1 year at the latest.
| Size | Flow rate | Capacity |
|---|---|---|
| Small – single appliance | 2.5 l/min | 5,500 litres |
| Medium | 4.5 l/min | 11,000 litres |
| Large – single tap | 4.5 l/min | 22,000 litres |
Connection: click-and-twist bayonet: a quarter turn and the cartridge is secure. Replace it yourself, without tools. You buy the filter head once.
Certification: NSF/ANSI 42, ACS.
Operating conditions: water temperature 2–39 °C, water pressure 0.7–8.6 bar.
