SorCA — Activated carbon filtration

Does your water not taste or smell quite fresh, do you want to significantly reduce PFAS, or do you collect rainwater and want it to taste good to drink?

SorCA largely removes chlorine with activated carbon, and significantly reduces PFAS and chemical residues. If your water has an off-taste or odour, for example with well water or rainwater, or with tap water abroad, such as in Belgium, France or Spain, SorCA neutralises that too. As an adsorbent, SorCA also significantly reduces micro-pollutants, such as medicine and hormone residues, PFAS, plasticisers, PAHs, pesticides and biocides, and some heavy metals.

Good to know: activated carbon mainly reduces the longer-chain PFAS significantly. The shortest, such as TFA, are not stopped by carbon; reverse osmosis (MembraSAL) does that.

For the whole house, the filter sits in a housing that lasts for many years; you only replace the cartridge, at least once a year, more often if you use a lot of water. No drain connection needed.

SorCA is available for a single tap (for example the kitchen tap) or for the whole house at the main water supply. It works on its own, or combine it with ZeNO (to remove limescale as well) or with ViruLEX (to remove bacteria, viruses and microplastics as well).

SorCA PFAS special

A cartridge with a slightly sharper focus on PFAS: a resin column tuned to these substances, plus activated carbon for chlorine and any off-taste or odour. Suitable for a single tap. Before use, you activate the cartridge: open the tap and let it flush for at least 5 minutes. Replace the cartridge at least once a year.

Cartridge for a single tap or appliance

The compact SorCA cartridge: a small, quick-to-replace element for under the sink, behind a coffee maker or on other small appliances, such as a steamer or ice machine. Largely removes chlorine and any off-taste or odour, and significantly reduces PFAS and chemical residues, with silver in the filter that inhibits bacterial growth inside the filter. You choose the size based on the flow rate of your tap or appliance, in litres per minute.
